I'm speaking as Putri Air here.

Maybe some of you have read my last post about baby 24. I posted it about a week ago, and yes, I forgot to tell you about it. -_-' Sorry! Anyway, my game still crashes, and I've tried everything I could think to fix it--use Delphy's dashboard and custard, install Generations and TSR RigFix, uninstall Pets, delete the caches... practically everything except uninstalling the base game. BUT, here comes the real problem. Honestly, I can deal with crashes right now, at least until I figure out what cause my game to act like this.

This evening when I played the game again, I saved it and left it for a while. When I came back, I found out that my laptop has shut down while I was away. I thought it was no big deal, until I opened TS3 and found something like 'serious error has occured while loading sunsetvalley.sims3'. I looked it up, and the first solution I found was to rename some files in the Saves folder. Yes, I did it, and when I opened TS3 again, the Sierra saved game disappeared. I freaked out, to say the least.

I have no idea now how to get my recent saved back again. I started a new game, of course, and that confirmed my suspicion that the only trace I left behind was Leah's household in the library. Her old house, the other Sierra households, all disappeared, thanks to the serious error. Now all I have is the recent version of the Sierras right after they moved out from Bridgeport.

Now what I'm trying to say is, can you help me? I'm afraid I've missed out a solution that can actually fix the whole thing. I'm still trying to figure out the problem. Meanwhile, I'll try to play TS3 with my last saved game (before Leah's family moved back to the old house). Since the house has disappeared, I'll have to download a new one and fill it with furniture and all. So, yeah, if I can't get this thing fixed, I might have to overwrite the whole post, and this might take a long, long time since I actually have another idea on my mind. Okay, an alternate storyline :P

I'll also bring my laptop to laptop repair services, in case the actual problem is my own laptop. I have a feeling those people will tell me to throw it away and buy a new one, though. My Acer is old, really -_-' With all these problems, I'm sorry to say that I might take another hiatus for an unknown period of time. But I'll keep you updated, I promise, through Facebook or (if there's a big news) here. Even if at the end I screw things up again and Leah somehow disappeared from my game, I'll let you know that I officially quit the challenge. Let's just hope that will never happen, but you'll never know since I basically mess up with everything I touch.

In the meantime, just in case these days I can't keep in touch with you guys, I'd like to congratulate Hailey for finishing her challenge. (oh, how I envy you! xD) And I'd also like to wish the very best of luck for Ashley, who's about to have a baby. I'm trying my best now to fix things up, so please, please, please wish me luck! :*

Love you guys,

This is what you will see in the next post if only my game didn't screw up again:

Yep, you're not the only one who curse EA.

Ugh! That sucks. The same thing happened to me awhile ago and I was unable to fix it, but I really hope someone else can help you out.
